Mizzou women's basketball continues its homestand against SIUE at 2 p.m. on Sunday in Mizzou Arena. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and the Tiger Radio Network.
Mizzou (8-2, 0-0 SEC) is on a three-game winning streak after prevailing against Bradley, Northwestern, and Cal the previous two weeks.
On Thursday, junior guard Shannon Dowell lifted the Tigers past Cal with layup in the final seconds.
Dowell and junior guard Grace Slaughter became the first Mizzou duo to score in double figures in the first 10 games of a season in program history.
Slaughter recorded her second double-double of the season as well as no turnovers for her second consecutive contest.
Slaughter and Dowell lead the way offensively for the Tigers as the duo ranks fourth and ninth in the SEC at 19.6 and 17.4 points per game, respectively.
As a team, Mizzou is second in the SEC in 3-point percentage at 40.4 and ranks fourth in the conference and 17th nationally at 48.9 percent from the field.
Dowell remains one of the nation's top free-throw contributors at eighth nationally with 48 attempts. The Tigers also rank 30th in the country in free-throw percentage at 77.40.
On National Signing Day, Missouri signed three top-100 recruits in Natalya Hodge (No. 54), Khloe Ford (No. 94) and Jada Maples (No. 95) in addition to Cecilie Brandimore and Ellie Mueller.
SIUE enters the contest at 5-2 following a victory to Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) on Wednesday.
The Cougars are coached by Samantha Quigley Smith, who is in her fifth year at the helm of the program with an 38-91 record.
Cal has a pair of freshman double-figure scorers in guard Kiyokto Proctor (14.8) and forward Lauren Miller (13.8).
Slaughter will be honored in a pregame ceremony after she scored her 1,000th-career point on Nov. 29 in a win over Northwestern.
