
Women's Basketball to Face Aggies at Home

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women's basketball (14-5, 3-3 SEC) looks to continue its momentum against the reigning SEC champions, Texas A&M (11-7, 1-5 SEC). The game is set to tipoff at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network. Sam Gore and Tamika Catchings will be on the call. Sunday's game is Mizzou's annual "We Back Pat" game in honor of legendary head coach Pat Summit.
The Tigers downed Vanderbilt on Thursday to pick up their first SEC road win of the season. Lauren Hansen led the way with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Tigers. She went 3-for-5 from three against the Commodores. Mizzou had four players finish in double figures on the night in Hansen (15), Hayley Frank (13), Aijha Blackwell (12), and Haley Troup (10). Freshman guard Kiya Dorroh played a career-high 22 minutes and scored five points.
Aijha Blackwell continued her dominance on the boards and on the offensive end. After picking up two quick fouls and sitting for most of the first half, Blackwell entered the third quarter with no points and five rebounds. In the second half alone, she put up 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Junior forward Hayley Frank has been on fire from three in SEC play. Frank is shooting 52.5 percent (21-for-40) from beyond the arc and averaging 16.3 points per game over six games.
