COLUMBIA, Mo. – For the second consecutive week, Mizzou Softball will hit the road for a non-conference midweek doubleheader. The Tigers and Southeast Missouri State are scheduled for two games Wednesday with the first matchup set for 4 p.m. CT. Game two is tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.

Mizzou and SEMO Series Snapshot
- Mizzou leads the all-time series over SEMO, 27-3.
- In the teams' last meeting, the Tigers claimed a doubleheader sweep over the Redhawks in Columbia, Missouri, a season ago (April 18, 2017).
- Mizzou has been victorious in 17 consecutive matchups against SEMO. Its last loss occurred on April 20, 2000, in a neutral site game in St. Louis, Missouri.
- The Tigers and Redhawks haven't squared off in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, since April 2, 2003, as Mizzou produced a pair of run-rule victories.
Tigers Snap Losing Skid with First SEC and Ranked Win
- The Tigers tallied a win in their recent three-game series at Mizzou Softball Stadium this past weekend (March 16-18) against No. 20 Mississippi State.
- In its 10th matchup against a nationally ranked opponent already this year, Mizzou recorded a 7-3 victory over the Bulldogs this past Saturday. It marked the Tigers' first top-25 and Southeastern Conference triumph this season.
- Madi Norman was fantastic in the circle in Mizzou's victory over Mississippi State, as she allowed only one earned run over a complete game effort. It was Norman's third complete game win this season, joining her previous accomplishments against Florida Atlantic (Feb. 17) and Southeastern Louisiana (March 2).
- The Tiger offense exploded for an SEC season-high 12 hits in their victory. Overall, Mizzou has now produced nine 10-plus hit games this year.
- Kolby Romaine delivered the big blow against the Bulldogs last Saturday, as her three RBI bases-clearing double started the Tigers' scoring. The Chino Hills, California, native paced Mizzou in hitting over its three-game series against Mississippi State with a robust .571 average (4-for-7, 2 2B, 3 RBI).
- Danielle Baumgartner continued to shine in conference action with an impressive performance in Sunday's series finale. The Tiger right hander allowed one earned run on three hits over 3.2 total innings. In two appearances in SEC play, the Mexico, Missouri, native has given up only one earned run over 5.2 innings of work.
