AWARD HONOREES
- Mizzou finished third in the SEC after being selected seventh in the preseason poll. It's the Tigers' highest conference finish since 1990.
- Mizzou has 21 victories for the 2nd straight season. The last time the Tigers won at least 21 games in two straight seasons was '83-84 & '84-85.
- Mizzou is looking for its first ever SEC Tournament victory. The Tigers are 2-0 against potential quarterfinal opponents Florida and Texas A&M.
- Mizzou's 11 conference wins matches its most in a season since 1990. The last time the Tigers won at least eight conference games in back-to-back seasons was 1986-87 and 1987-88.
- The Tigers' free throw percentage as a team, 80.1 percent, is on pace to set single-season program and SEC records. Only 17 teams have shot above 80 percent from the charity stripe in a season in NCAA history.
- Mizzou has clinched its fifth consecutive winning season. The last time the Tigers put together five straight winning seasons was 1985-90.
- Mizzou is riding its second win streak of five or more in league play this season. It's the first time in program history that Mizzou has recorded multiple conference win streaks of five or more in the same season.
- Mizzou's senior class has won 79 games, the most since the 1987-88 senior class.
- Mizzou has won 10 out of its last 12 games, winning five in a row in January and five in a row since a loss to Tennessee on Feb. 9
- Mizzou's five-game is its longest in conference play since 1990 .
- Mizzou has three conference win streaks of four or more since joining the SEC.
- In SEC play, Mizzou has drained a league-best 134 three-pointers, averaging 8.4 triples per contest. No other team in the SEC averages more than 7.2 treys per game. The Tigers are shooting a blistering 40.6 percent from beyond the arc, which ranks second in the SEC, trailing only Texas A&M, who has taken 142 less attempts.
- An SEC team has made at least 12 three-pointers in a conference game six times this season. Mizzou is responsible for five of those six games.
- Despite having just one true forward playing 15 minutes or more per game, Mizzou has outrebounded opponents 22 times in 30 games this season, going 18-4 in those contests. Mizzou is holding SEC opponents to just 31.0 rebounds per game, a league-low.
RECORD WATCH
- Entering postseason play, redshirt senior point guard Lianna Doty is 13 assists shy of breaking Mizzou's all-time career assist record.
- Through 30 games, Doty is averaging 3.5 assists per game, which ranks 13th in the SEC. She has dished at least four dimes in a game 13 times in 2016-17. Doty recorded six assists against Tennessee, her highest output in SEC play.
- With 477 career assists, Doty tops active SEC players in career dimes. She has 23 more assists than any other active SEC player. Doty needs 12 assists to tie the program record for career assists (489 - Kerensa Barr).
- Doty is just the third Tiger to ever reach the 400-assist mark and the first Mizzou player to do so since Barr in 2003.
- Doty also ranks fourth in career steals among active SEC players with 188 swipes, which puts her at ninth all-time in program history. She's on pace to become the third Tiger ever to finish with at least 500 points, 400 assists and 190 steals.
LAST TIME OUT
