LOWARY TABBED SEC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
- Sophomore Paige Lowary was sensational last week versus Western Illinois and New Mexico State. The lefty played a key role into the Tigers' 5-0 week (March 14-20) as she went 4-0 herself with a microscopic 0.36 ERA.
- Lowary allowed only one earned run in 19.2 innings pitched while striking out over a batter an inning (22 K).
- It marked Lowary's second career honor from the SEC office as she also garnered Pitcher of the Week accolades in 2015 (Week 3).
FAGAN AMONG THE SEC AND NATION'S BEST
- Redshirt senior Sami Fagan is in her third and final year in Mizzou black and gold. The sweet-swinging lefty has once again upped her game in 2016 and is producing astounding numbers at the plate and on the base paths.
- Currently, Fagan is the lone player in the SEC to rank Top-10 in AVG (.494), home runs (9) and stolen bases (18).
- Additionally, her .922 SLG% ranks 2nd in SEC, .612 OBP ranks 1st in SEC, 33 runs scored ranks 8th in SEC, 38 hits ranks 6th in SEC and 71 total bases ranks 2nd in SEC.
- The Tiger senior leader has powered one of the nation's top offenses since game one this year. Fagan possesses a team-leading 12 multi-hit games this season (50 career), including three 3-hit games and two 4-hit games.
- Also, Fagan holds a team-leading 10 multi-RBI games in 2016 (40 career), including four 3-RBI games and two 4-RBI efforts.
