Mizzou competes in the first session at 1 p.m. on Saturday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The No. 20 Mizzou gymnastics team will compete in the afternoon session of the 2016 Southeastern Conference Championships on Saturday, March 19, in Little Rock, Ark. The seventh-seeded Tigers will go against Georgia, Arkansas and Kentucky in the 1 p.m. session. Florida, LSU, Alabama and Auburn will compete in the evening session at 5 p.m. The first session will be televised live on ESPNU with Bart Conner, Kathy Johnson Clarke and Laura Rutledge on the call. Additionally, individual event streams will be available on the WatchESPN app.

- As the seven-seed, Mizzou opens the meet on beam, then goes to fl oor, vault and ends on bars.
- The Tigers sit at No. 20 in this week's national rankings with an RQS of 196.235.
- Last time out, Mizzou closed the regular season with a 195.800-195.525 win at Western Michigan.
- On March 4 against Arkansas, freshman Morgan Porter put together one of the best individual performances in program history.
- Porter won four titles and tied the second-highest all-around total in Mizzou history with a career-best 39.675 in the meet against the Razorbacks. The score is also tied as the sixth-highest all-around total in the nation this season and second-best among SEC gymnasts.
- Porter notched individual event scores of 9.950 on beam and floor, 9.925 on bars and 9.850 on vault for the 39.674.
- Mizzou scored a 196.625 at Auburn on Feb. 26 to record the team's highest road score since 2007 and the fourth-highest away total in program history.
- This season marks only the second time in program history (37 years) Mizzou has tallied at least three scores of 196.625 or higher in the same year. The Tigers also accomplished the feat in 2004, when they did it four times.
- Freshman Britney Ward is tied for ninth nationally on beam with an RQS of 9.900.
- So far in 2016, Tiger freshman have accounted for 59.1 percent of all Mizzou routines.
- Through 11 meets in 2016, the Tigers have notched 139 individual scores of 9.8 or higher, which calculates to 52.7 percent of all routines.
- Porter leads the Tigers with 13 wins on the season, followed closely behind by freshman Britney Ward's 12.
- In the State of Missouri Meet on Feb. 5, the Tigers notched a season best 49.475 on floor, the fifth-best event total in program history.
- Mizzou won its first-ever SEC dual meet on Jan. 22 in a 195.800-195.350 win over then-No. 9 Georgia at Mizzou Arena.
- The Tigers opened 2016 with a 195.350-195.075 win over No. 15 Illinois on Jan. 8. The score tied the program record for highest opening meet team total in program history.
