COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Women's Basketball finishes exhibition play on Monday with a matchup against Truman State. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Mizzou Arena.

RANKED
- Mizzou was tabbed No. 24 in the 2016-17 Associated Press preseason poll.
- It's the first time Mizzou has cracked the preseason rankings since 1984 and the fourth time overall in program history.
- Mizzou spent eight consecutive weeks in the AP Top 25 poll during the 2015-16 campaign, the longest run for the program in more than 30 years.
PRESEASON ALL-SEC RECOGNITION
- Sophomore guard Sophie Cunningham (Columbia, Mo.) was voted First-Team Preseason All-Southeastern Conference by the league's coaches.
- Each coach in the league voted for an All-SEC first-team, a second-team and Player of the Year. This is Cunningham's first career Preseason SEC honor. She became Mizzou's first SEC Freshman of the Year in program history after a stellar 2015-16 campaign in which she started all 32 games and averaged a team-high 14.0 points per game.
- Mizzou was also selected to finish seventh in the SEC.
LAST TIME OUT
- Mizzou downed Central Missouri, 65-35, in its first exhibition contest last Tuesday at Mizzou Arena.
- The Tigers' gritty defense was on full display as Mizzou held UCM to just 17 percent shooting and forced 23 turnovers en route to a 30-point victory.
- As a team, Mizzou dominated down low all game, outscoring the Jennies 28-8 in the paint. Mizzou also racked up seven blocks and 10 steals leading to eight fast break points.
- Sophie Cunningham and her sister, redshirt senior Lindsey Cunningham (Columbia, Mo.), combined for 40 points and 15 rebounds in the victory. Sophie finished the game with a team-high 21 points on 53 percent shooting (8-for-15). Lindsey led the team with seven rebounds and tallied 19 points, thanks to a remarkable 75 percent shooting night (6-for-8).
- Senior guard Sierra Michaelis (Mercer, Mo.) was the third Tiger to score in double digits. She collected 11 points on 50 percent shooting and a perfect 4-for-4 effort from the foul line.
HISTORY AGAINST TRUMAN STATE
- Mizzou has won its last six regular season meetings with Truman State, with the most recent victory coming on Jan. 2, 1995, 85-54.
- In the last five meetings, Mizzou won by an average margin of 43.4 points per contest.
- Mizzou has won its last three exhibition games by a combined score of 258-148, beating Southwest Baptist, 96-59, Quincy, 97-54, and Central Missouri, 65-35.
TUNE-UPS
- During the Robin Pingeton coaching era, the Tigers are 13-0 in exhibition contests with eight of those victories coming by 25 points or more.
- In those 13 games, Mizzou has outpaced opponents 995-703, averaging wins by a 22.5 margin.
MIZZOU ENTERS 2016-17 COMING OFF HISTORIC SEASON
- Mizzou is coming off a historic 2015-16 season, having racked up 22 wins for the first time since 2000-01.
- The Tigers earned an NCAA Tournament berth for the first time since 2006 and won an NCAA Tournament game for the first time since 2001 after upsetting 7-seeded BYU in the opening round as a No. 10 seed.
- Mizzou won eight conference games, clinched three victories over top-50 RPI opponents and four more over top-100 RPI foes. The Tigers' impressive run included wins over No. 6 Mississippi State and No. 22 Florida at Mizzou Arena last season.
- Mizzou has now completed four consecutive winning seasons for the first time since 1986-90.
- Coach Pingeton's squad also excelled in the classroom, posting a spring 2016 Team GPA of 3.31, the highest in program history.
- Mizzou brings back four Tigers from a season ago who started at least 24 games in Lindsey Cunningham, Sophie Cunningham, Sierra Michaelis and sophomore Cierra Porter (Columbia, Mo.).
PRESEASON WNIT PARTICIPANTS
- After a second exhibition game on Monday, Nov. 7, Mizzou officially opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 11 against Abilene Chistian in the first round of the Preseason WNIT. This is the first time in program history that Mizzou has competed in the Preseason WNIT. Mizzou is guaranteed three games in the tournament.
- The tournament features a 16-team field, including four power five programs (Mizzou, Notre Dame, Washington and Nebraska).
- The Tigers have won 14 of their last 15 nonconference games heading into its matchup with Abilene Christian.
- In its last Postseason WNIT appearance in 2015, Mizzou went 2-1, reaching the 3rd round after road wins over Northern Iowa (69-61) and Kansas State (67-48).
