- Mizzou is 2-0 after downing Nebraska, 55-35, on Monday night in Lincoln, Neb. Sophomore Sophie Cunningham and senior Sierra Michaelis both chipped in 18 points apiece to steer the Tigers to a victory.
- With its win at Nebraska, Mizzou has now won five of its last seven true road openers.

- Thursday's matchup in Seattle features two Top 25 teams. Mizzou's last win over a Top 25 opponent on the road was a 70-69 thriller at No. 12 Texas A&M on Feb. 26, 2015.
- Mizzou's last win over a Top 25 opponent in nonconference play came in 2011, when current assistant coach RaeShara Brown led the Tigers to a 54-45 upset over No. 12 Georgetown in the Paradise Jam. Brown posted a double-double in the victory with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
BLUE COLLAR DEFENSE
- Since head coach Robin Pingeton's arrival in 2010, gritty, tough defense has a been a staple of Mizzou's program. The 2016-17 squad has already begun to continue that tradition early this season.
- Mizzou is holding opponents to 21.7-percent shooting from the field this season, which tops the SEC and ranks eighth in the nation. Mizzou is allowing just 40.5 points per game through two contests. That ranks third in the league and 11th among all Division I programs.
- In Mizzou's 55-35 win at Nebraska, the Huskers' 35 points matched the fewest they have scored in a game as an NCAA program and the fewest since 1975.
- Mizzou's 17 steals against Abilene Christian were the most the Tigers have collected in a game during the Pingeton coaching era.
STARTING STRONG
- Heading in to the 2016-17 campaign, over the last five seasons Mizzou is 23-2 in its first five games of the year.
- The Tigers have started 2-0 for the sixth consecutive season. Mizzou began the 2015-16 season on a 13-game winning streak.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
- No. 17 Washington has put up big numbers in its first two games of the season. The Huskies (2-0) are averaging 100.5 points per game and are beating opponents by an average of 40.5 points per contest.
- Washington is led by All-American senior guard Kelsey Plum, who is averaging 29.0 points and 6.5 assists per game. Plum is shooting 59.4 percent (19-of-32) from the field this season.
- Washington reached the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament last season as a No. 7 seed, upending Maryland, Kentucky and Stanford on their run to the National Semifinals.
- The Huskies are led by fourth-year head coach Mike Neighbors, who is in his sixth year on staff at Washington.
GETTING TO THE LINE

- Cunningham has made the most of her opportunities from the foul line, making 81.4 percent of her attempts, which currently ranks third in Mizzou history. Cunningham is one of two SEC players with at least 20 free throw attempts and 14 makes through two games.
- If you were to count Mizzou's two exhibition games against Truman State and Central Missouri, Cunningham has already attempted 40 free throws through four contests and scored 31 points from the foul line alone.
