GAME ONE:
With the 4-2 victory, Mizzou head coach Ehren Earleywine earned his 500th career victory, it was his 354th while at Missouri.
After a red hot series at Mississippi State, freshman IF/OF Kelli Schkade batted leadoff in the first game, her first time leading off this year. She went 1-3 with an RBI and a stolen base, her seventh and sixth, respectively.
In the second inning, Kelsea Roth recorded her first steal of the year, fourth of her career, on a double steal that resulted in Mackenzie Sykes stealing home.
Sami Fagan entered the game with just eight walks on the season, but walked twice in Game One with her second resulting in her coming around to score in the fifth inning.
Sykes went 2-for-2 with one RBI, her ninth multi-hit game of the season.
Tori Finucane picked up her 12th complete game and 13th victory of the season, both team-highs.
GAME TWO:
Kelli Schkade went 3-for-4, her second multi-hit game of the season and her first career 3-hit game.
Sykes once again recorded two hits, going 2-for-3 for with one RBI, bumping up her multi-hit game total to 10 on the season. Her two total RBI on the day increased her team-high season total to 39.
Casey Stangel did not walk a batter through seven innings while striking out three.
After scoring a run in the first, the Tigers first inning run differential now sits at +26.
