JUNIOR (2016)

  • Battled injuries on-and-off throughout the season, limited to only 37.2 innings pitched
  • Dominant in relief vs. No. 16 Tennessee (April 2), throwing 3.2 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts
  • Earned save with 2.2 shutout innings and three strikeouts at Ole Miss (March 12)
  • Closed out Tigers' win over No. 22 Baylor (March 5) with 2.0 shutout innings
  • Reeled off consecutive scoreless appearances in 7-of-9 outings (March 5-April 3)
  • Shut down lefties this season, limiting them to .203 average (13-for-64)

SOPHOMORE (2015)

  • Posted another strong season as the Tigers' ace, finishing with a 21-8 record, 3.03 ERA, and 140 strikeouts in 155.0 innings pitched
  • Tossed eight complete games in her 30 starts, while adding three shutouts and two saves
  • Went 2-0 at the NCAA Columbia Regional (May 15-17), including a complete-game shutout win over Indiana State (May 15)
  • Grabbed her 40th career win in convincing fashion, throwing a complete-game, one-hit shutout to blank
    Mississippi State in the opening round of the SEC Tournament (May 6)
  • Tied her season-high with eight strikeouts in series-opening shutout win vs. Arkansas (April 17)
  • Fanned a season-high eight batters in 5-4 win over #8 Auburn (March 28), as she went a career-long 8.0
    innings, holding the offensive-minded Tigers to a season-low 5 hits on the night
  • Grabbed two wins in two days in the circle over South Carolina (March 8-9), giving up five combined hits and one run. Finucane also recorded her first shutout of the season in the series finale
  • Got a win and notched her first two career saves in the Mary Nutter Classic (Feb. 19-21)

FRESHMAN (2014)

  • SEC Freshman of the Year in her first season wearing the Black & Gold, compiling a 1.73 ERA with a 21-6 record in 190.1 innings pitched
  • Struck out 168 batters while allowing just 57 walks, and limited hitters to just a .223 average against
  • Earned First Team All-SEC and Freshman All-SEC recognition, as well as NFCA All-Southeast Region Second Team distinction
  • Compiled her 190.1 innings in the circle through 32 appearances and 29 starts, pitching 19 complete games and six shutouts
  • Picked up her first career shutout victory over a ranked opponent with a 7.0 inning, eight strikeout performance in a 2-0 win vs. No. 14 Arizona (Feb. 20)
  • Earned a second shutout win vs. a ranked squad in the 7-0 win at No. 13 Texas A&M (March 7), striking out seven batters and allowing just three hits
  • Hit nine strikeouts twice in the span of four days, first against Illinois State (March 19) in the first game of the doubleheader (W, 4-2), and again vs. Oklahoma State (March 22), a 2-1 victory
  • Nine strikeouts in a 8-6 win over No. 13 Georgia (March 28)
  • Racked up a season-best 12 strikeouts in the 6-0 win at Mississippi State (April 4), allowing just two hits and issuing zero walks in the complete game shutout
  • Earned SEC Pitcher of the Week on April 7 for her efforts at Mississippi State (April 4-5)
  • Shut down Ole Miss with two complete game victories from April 18-19, allowing zero earned runs in 13.0 innings pitched with just five hits and three walks allowed
  • Two impressive victories in the circle during the series win at No. 3 Florida (April 25-27), first improving to 7-0 in Friday conference starts in the 5-3 win (April 25), then striking out 10 in the 5-4 win to clinch the series (April 27), also earning SEC Pitcher of the Week and both national player of the week awards for her efforts
  • Took a no-hitter into the top of the seventh of the eventual 2-1 win in the second game of the Creighton doubleheader (April 29), allowing a home run to let the Bluejays on the scoreboard

HIGH SCHOOL (BISHOP O'CONNELL)

  • Two-time NFCA First Team High School All-American at pitcher for Bishop O'Connell High School (Arlington, Va.) and head coach Tommy Orndoff
  • Earned her second-straight Gatorade Virginia Softball Player of the Year award in 2013 after receiving her first as a junior in 2012
  • Completed career at Bishop O'Connell with an outstanding 26-1 senior season in 2013, striking out a school-record 341 batters in 164.0 innings pitched with a 0.21 ERA (only five ER allowed)
  • Allowed just five runs over the entire 2013 season to build that exemplary ERA mark
  • Averaged 2.08 strikeouts per inning in her final high school campaign
  • Batted .554 with six home runs, seven triples, 45 RBI and a 1.054 slugging percentage as a senior
  • Pitched the Lady Knights to a 27-1 record pitching 161.0 innings - 157.0 of which were shutout innings as a junior in 2012
  • Finished junior campaign with a then-school record 322 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.09
  • Her 2012 season also included All-America nods from ESPN and MaxPreps
  • Two-time Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Player of the Year (2012, 2013)
  • Helped lead Bishop O'Connell to back-to-back WCAC and Virginia Independent Schools championships in 2012 and 2013
  • Played for VA Shamrocks, NJ Intensity club teams
