Wabi trained at Aspire Gymnastics Academy under coaches Nick Becker and Brandon Field.
Earned multiple top finishes at the Illinois State Meet and Regionals, including placing second on bars, fourth on floor and sixth in the all-around at the 2019 state meet.

Born Nov. 20, 2002, in Chicago, Ill. Daughter of Steve and Sheryl Wabi.
Has one sister, Kristin Smith, and one brother, Michael Smith.
Majoring in Public Health.
Lists her most memorable gymnastics moment as competing at NCAA Regionals as a senior.
Chose Mizzou because she immediately felt at home on campus. She values the strong academics, supportive coaching staff and team culture, and the resources that will help her pursue her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant while competing for a national title.
Excited by the dedication and persistence of the team and by the shared champion mindset.
Goals include contributing in every way she can, competing for something bigger than herself and helping the team reach the NCAA National Championship.
Enjoys coloring on her iPad or going on walks.
