New Student Ticket Model

New Student Ticket Model

We Listened. We Learned. We Modernized.

Beginning in 2026-27, Mizzou Athletics is rolling out a new student ticket model based on loyalty points you can earn and track. Those loyalty points will rank you on a leaderboard with other students, which will determine football and men's basketball tickets.

The 2025-26 athletics year proved we've outgrown the previous student ticketing model. Increased demand for games, coupled with growing enrollment at the University of Missouri, meant it was time to re-imagine the system.

We heard your feedback.

Thanks to what we learned through student surveys, workshops with a student ticketing advisory group and in other settings throughout the past year, we have rebuilt the process from the ground up. We know how impactful students can be on the game day atmosphere, so we have also expanded the student section at Memorial Stadium to include Sections 314 and 315 and plan to return some students to the Hill now that football stadium construction is complete.

No more lottery you had no control over.

No more waiting in a queue to find out if you even receive a ticket.

No more paying for something you might not receive.

Now, everything is in your hands. Scroll down to learn more. Additional information, tutorials and how-tos will be available throughout the summer and into the fall.

Zou Student Loyalty

Zou Student Loyalty

It’s simple:

  • Attend home athletics events across all sports
  • Check in through the Mizzou Tigers App
  • Earn loyalty points to climb the leaderboard and better your chances of getting into football and men’s basketball games

Football and men's basketball tickets will be based on your ranking on the leaderboard, which is based off of accumulated loyalty points. Additionally, tickets for football and men's basketball games will be purchased on a single-game basis, rather than through a year-long package. This allows you to pay only for the tickets you receive.

In 2026-27, as the loyalty program is beginning, you will start with points based on your seniority with the university.

If you were to attend every home football and men’s basketball game, you would expect to spend between $220-$250 for the season.

Football Tickets

Football Tickets

For each home football game, you will have a 72-hour window to request a ticket for that upcoming week’s game starting on Friday (eight days before the game) and ending on Monday (five days before the game).

Once the request window closes, all entries will be ranked by loyalty points and you will be notified via email, text message and push notification if you have received a ticket based on your ranking and amount of loyalty points.

If you receive a ticket, you will have 24 hours to complete your purchase using a link provided to you. If any tickets remain unpurchased, they will be offered to the next students in rank, who will be notified in the same way and given 24 hours to complete their purchase.

* All football tickets will be purchased on a single game basis, and no student charges will be allowed. Football tickets will range from $10-$50 per game. The average ticket price for the season will be around $20-$30.

Men's Basketball Tickets

Men's Basketball Tickets

Men’s basketball ticket distribution will follow a process similar to previous seasons, with one key change: you will now purchase tickets rather than claim them. However, not all games will have a cost to receive a ticket, though a ticket will still be required for admission.

Games will be grouped into designated blocks, allowing you to purchase tickets within each block. These blocks will be released at various points throughout the season. Release dates will be communicated via email, text message and push notification.

For each block of games, the top loyalty point earners will receive a 72-hour priority window to purchase tickets before they become available to the rest of the student body, ensuring we reward students who actively support Mizzou Athletics.

* Men’s basketball tickets will be sold on a single-game basis, and student charging will not be permitted. Not all games will have a cost associated with receiving a ticket, and for the games that do cost, ticket prices will range from $5–$30 per game, depending on the quality and demand of the game. For select high-demand games, we will use the same request-based process as football. Students will request a ticket, and tickets will be allocated based on point rankings.

Olympic Sports

Olympic Sports

All Olympic sports — including volleyball, soccer, cross country, swim & dive, women’s basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, track & field, tennis, softball, and baseball — are free for all current Mizzou students to attend. These games are great ways to earn loyalty points towards football and men's basketball tickets.

Simply use your Mizzou Student ID at the entrance of each event for admission.

Please note: entry is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to the capacity of each venue. Once capacity is reached, admission may no longer be available for students.

FAQ's

This new system is designed to better meet the growing demand for Mizzou Athletics events, especially football and men’s basketball, coupled with increased enrollment at the University of Missouri. We arrived at this system through surveying Mizzou students, gathering feedback throughout the past academic year and meeting with a student focus group over the course of six months. This updated system puts students in control of their game day experience. By prioritizing attendance, students who show up and support Mizzou Athletics will be rewarded with greater access to tickets. It also offers increased flexibility, allowing you to pay only for the tickets you receive—no upfront commitment required. Most importantly, the Zou Student Loyalty Program expands opportunities for more students to attend games and be part of the incredible atmosphere. It’s a fairer, more flexible system that rewards loyalty and makes it easier than ever to support Mizzou Athletics.

We do not offer student season passes. All student tickets for football and men’s basketball must be purchased on a single-game basis. Student ticket prices will range from $10–$50 for football and $5–$30 for men’s basketball, depending on the game. Students can expect to spend $220-$250 if they were to attend every game.

No-student charging is not available for ticket purchases. All tickets must be paid in full using the payment link provided once you are awarded a ticket.

We understand that things come up and you aren’t able to make a game after purchasing a ticket on Monday, so no missing one game isn’t going to hurt you. However constantly receiving a ticket that goes unused can result in loss of loyalty points.

You will be able to start earning points at our first soccer match on August 20 at 4:30 PM vs SLU.

Points will be awarded by seniority entering the 2026-27 school year. Seniors/graduate students will start with 600 loyalty points, juniors with 400 loyalty points, sophomores with 200 and freshman with 0 loyalty points. Each Mizzou home game will be worth 50 points, with 25 additional points awarded for showing up to the game early and staying late in the game. Some games will be declared double-point games, starting at 100 points. There will also be opportunities before the first football game for all students to earn points.

You can earn additional points by showing up early to games and staying until the final whistle. You can also earn bonus points by attending select campus events throughout the year. Point-earning events will be announced throughout the year.

At the end of the academic year, 25 percent of your points will carry over into the next year. This makes it especially beneficial to continue attending athletic events even after football and men’s basketball seasons have ended, helping you start the following year in a strong position.

No, you will not lose any points if you recieve tickets to football and men's basketball.

Yes, Freshman start with less points than upper-classmen but will have opportunities to earn points during Welcome Week and there will be plenty of soccer and volleyball games in the fall for Freshman to earn points.

Queues are completely normal with online purchasing and are designed to keep the site from crashing. If you click the purchase link and encounter a queue, your ticket is still guaranteed. You will have 24 hours to complete your purchase, so you may either wait in the queue or exit and return later to purchase your ticket within that 24-hour window.
