A five-star recruit from Henderson, Nev., Echols trained at Gymcats Gymnastics beginning in January 2022.
She owns personal bests of 9.975 on vault and 9.900 on floor with a 39.025 all-around.
Since moving to Level 10 in 2020 she has recorded six scores of 9.800 or better on vault and seven consecutive scores of 9.800 or better on floor. She has earned 38.000 or higher in 10 meets.
Echols was named a 2024 DP National Team Member and won both state and regional all-around titles. She collected 20 first-place finishes during the 2024 season.

Born Dec. 22, 2006 in Minneapolis, Minn. Daughter of Darv Dunn.

Aspires to become an NCAA gymnastics head coach or a forensic scientist.
Nickname is “Ki.”
Lists her favorite memory as placing third at the 2024 nationals.
Chose Mizzou because of how immediately welcomed she felt by the team and how genuine and supportive the coaches and campus community were.
She describes the team’s energy as electric and says Columbia instantly felt like home.
Pre-meet routine includes having music in her ears at all times and spending a little time alone.
Enjoys reading in bed.
Motivated by the energy the team brings and the chance to grow within the program. Goals include becoming an All-American athlete and earning a 10 on each event.
Favorite music service is Apple Music.
Favorite songs include Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish, I Love You So by The Walters and The Girl Is Mine by Michael Jackson.
Role model is her mom, whom she admires for her strength and selflessness.
