Kate Brown is in her first season with Mizzou Women’s Basketball since joining the program in July of 2024.
Before joining the Tigers, Brown was the head manager for the women’s basketball program at Grand Canyon where she coordinated team meals, lodging and transportation, developed and implemented athlete workouts and assisted scouting operations.
Prior to her time with the Antelopes, Brown served as an assistant coach at the Amateur Athletic Union where she helped with in-game substitution management and game strategy and provided individual player feedback.
In the summer of 2022, Brown spent time as a basketball camp assistant at Liberty North High School where she led drills teaching the foundations of defensive principles and shooting mechanics, composed the daily camp schedule to maximize player experience and coached scrimmages.
Brown graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education with a sports psychology minor.
