
Men's Golf Wraps Up South Carolina Trip

University of Missouri men's golf continues action in South Carolina, competing in The Hootie at Bull Bay, starting on Sunday.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The tournament is over three days at the Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina. Teams tee off round one at 8 a.m. CT on Sunday morning before wrapping up the tournament on Monday and Tuesday.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Hootie is set for a par-72 course measures 7,226 yards in length.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
The Tigers are one of 15 schools competing in the tournament this season, joined by co-hosts No. 43 South Carolina and Charleston, addition top-50 schools in No. 37 Clemson, No. 39 Kansas, No. 43 South Carolina and No. 45 Purdue plus Appalachian State, Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, East Tennessee State, Florida Golf Coast, Furman, Kent State, West Virginia and Winthrop.
2025 HOOTIE AT BULLS BAY RECAP
The Tigers finished 21-under par over the three-day tournament, Trent Mierl led Mizzou during the tournament, setting career bests with a final-round tally of seven-under 65 and a tournament score of -9 (69-73-65). The rookie placed seventh overall of 84 golfers – his fifth top 20 in eight events during the season and his second-best finish overall.
As a team, Mizzou finished tied for fifth out of 15 schools at the tournament.
STRONG ROOKIE CAMPAIGN NETS HONOR
Reese Roberts led the Mizzou men's golf team at the Michael A. Marino Classic last week, collecting his first collegiate top-20 finish at the three-day event. Roberts finished with a career-best 215 (69-74-72) and his first collegiate tournament under par at -1, placing 17th overall in the 90-player field.
Following his performance, Roberts earned SEC Freshman of the Week accolades.
