
Women's Basketball Primed for Clash With Arkansas Thursday

Mizzou women's basketball will host Arkansas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Mizzou Arena. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and the Tiger Radio Network.
Mizzou (12-7, 0-4 SEC) is coming off a loss to No. 21 Alabama on Monday.
To start SEC play, the Tigers have faced four-straight teams ranked inside the top 25 in the AP poll and are the only team in the country to play four consecutive top 25 opponents this season.
Junior guard Grace Slaughter led Missouri and finished one rebound shy of a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds against Alabama. Slaughter has scored in double figures in 19 consecutive games.
Slaughter is 14th in the country and sixth in the SEC with 353 points this season. Additionally, the junior is 10th in the country and second in the SEC with 35.8 minutes per game this year.
As a team, Mizzou is ranked ninth in the country and first in the SEC in 3-point percentage at 37.8 percent. The Tigers are 25th nationally and fourth in the SEC with 8.8 makes from beyond the arc per game.
Individually, sophomore guard Chloe Sotell (41.0%) and junior guard Abbey Schreacke (40.0%) are fourth and sixth, respectively, in the conference in 3-point percentage.
The Tigers also rank fifth in the country and first in the SEC in free-throw percentage at 81.0 percent.
Off the court, Mizzou earned a 3.52 GPA during the 2025 Fall semester.
Arkansas enters Thursday at 11-8, including a 0-4 mark in SEC play, following a loss to No. 20 Tennessee on Sunday.
Head coach Kelsi Musick is in her first season on the sidelines in Fayetteville with a 11-8 record. In her 17-year collegiate career, Musick is 527-172 all-time.
Musick came to Arkansas in the offseason after three seasons at Oral Roberts.
Arkansas roster is headlined by senior guard Taleyah Jones, who averages 16.2 points per game. Jones spent two seasons at Oral Roberts with Musick.
