University of Missouri men's golf continues the spring season in South Carolina at The General Hackler Invitational, beginning on Sunday.

The action is over three days with each day teeing off at 7 a.m. CT.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The General Hackler Invitational will tee off at The Dune Golf & Beach Club, an 18-hole course in Myrtle Beach. The par-72 course measures 7,233 yards.
A Robert Trent Jones-designed course, the Dunes Club was incorporated in 1948. It was host to the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship on PGA TOUR Champions from 1994 to 1999, with notables Raymond Floyd, Jim Colbert, Jay Sigel, Gil Morgan, Hale Irwin and Gary McCord claiming titles. Twenty-one years earlier, the Dunes Club was the site of PGA TOUR Q-School Finals in 1973, with Ben Crenshaw taking medalist honors.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
The field of 16 features six teams inside the top-50 with host Coastal Carolina, No. 1 Auburn, No. 19 Duke, No. 39 Louisville, No. 41 Wake Forest, No. 44 NC State, No. 45 Charleston, Furman, Kent State, Liberty, East Tennessee State, High Point, North Florida, Baylor and Nevada joining the Tigers in the competition.
PAZ FINDS TOP-10 AT COLLETON RIVER
Junior Virgilio Paz registered his third-career top-10 finish Tigers were last in action, placing in a tie for eighth at the Colleton River Collegiate. Paz opened with a two-under 70 and an even-par 72 to close the first day inside the top-five. Paz finished with a two-over 218 (70-72-76) despite tough conditions throughout the tournament.
THE DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES
Overall, Paz ranks as the team's most improved golfer from last year. The junior leads Mizzou with a 72.52 stroke average, shaving more than a stroke off his average last season as he tallied a 73.65 last season (1.13 improvement).
Paz has led the Tigers in scoring in five of the seven events he has competed in this season.
