
Women's Basketball to Host Lipscomb on Sunday

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women's basketball looks to extend its four-game win streak at 3 p.m. Sunday against Lipscomb at Mizzou Arena. The contest will be broadcast nationally on SEC Network.
Missouri (9-3, 0-0 SEC) enters the contest following a victory over Northern Illinois on Dec. 7.
Sophomore guard Grace Slaughter led Missouri in the scoring column for the seventh time this season against the Huskies as she notched 20 points behind a career-high four 3-pointers.
Junior guard Ashton Judd contributed 16 points and has averaged 16.0 points and 5.8 rebounds in the last four games.
Sophomore guard Abbey Schreacke has led Missouri off the bench in nine contests this season.
Schreacke leads the SEC and ranks fifth nationally with 33 3-pointers this year. The sophomore also ranks fifth in the SEC in 3-point percentage (40.7).
As a team, the Tigers lead the SEC and are sixth nationally in 3-point percentage at 40.0 percent.
Opposite Schreacke, Slaughter leads the country in 3-point percentage among (57.9) athletes with 20+ makes on the year.
Redshirt sophomore guard Averi Kroenke ranks second in the SEC and sixth in the country with a 3.82 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Sunday will mark the second meeting between the programs as the Tigers defeated the Bisons, 96-43 on Dec. 11, 2000.
Lipscomb enters Sunday at 6-3 following a loss to Belmont on Dec. 4.
The Bisons finished last year at 17-13 including a 10-6 mark against ASUN conference opponents.
Lipscomb is coached by Lauren Sumski who is in her sixth season on the sidelines in Nashville with a 72-81 record.
The Bisons' roster is headlined by senior guards Claira McGowan and Bella Vinson who average 12.0 points per game respectively.
