GAINESVILLE, Fla. – University of Missouri women's basketball closed out the regular season with an upset road win at No. 21/15 Florida, 78-73, Sunday at the O'Connell Center.
The Tigers (18-11, 7-9 Southeastern Conference) closed the first half on a 19-2 run to lead 29-22 at halftime and closed out the game going 25-of-29 from the free-throw line to defeat the Gators (20-9, 10-6 SEC).
Hayley Frank led all players with her 26 points and 10 rebounds – recording her first double-double of the season. It was her fifth-straight game in double digits and seventh 20-point game of the campaign.
NOTES
• Mizzou won the battle of the boards by a 41-33 margin.

Izzy Higginbottom came off the bench to pour in 15 points with five rebounds and three assists. Her 8-of-8 effort from the free-throw line set career highs for free throws made and attempted.

Mama Dembele scored eight of her 13 points in the third quarter and had three assists and two steals.
• Dembele was 9-of-10 from the charity stripe, setting career bests for makes and attempts.

Lauren Hansen finished with 12, along with five boards and two assists.

The Tigers are headed to Nashville for the SEC Tournament, set to run March 2-6, 2022, at Bridgestone Arena Nashville, Tennessee. Mizzou earned the No. 9 seed and will face No. 8 Arkansas at noon CT on Thursday, March 3. The game is set to air on SEC Network and the Tiger Radio Network.
