Tigers Head South For Sunday Matchup At 15/21 Florida

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's basketball team finishes off the regular season with a Sunday matinee at No. 15/21 Florida. The Tigers (17-11, 6-9 Southeastern Conference) and Gators (20-8, 10-5) will tip things off at 11 a.m. CT inside the O'Connell Center. Florida is coming off losses at LSU and Vanderbilt while the Tigers fell to Kentucky Thursday. The game will air on SEC Network and the Tiger Radio Network.
LAST TIME THEY MET
• Mizzou sank a program record 18 three-pointers en route to a 96-80 win over Florida on senior day inside Mizzou Arena. Seniors Shug Dickson and Shannon Dufficy scored 20 and 19 points, respectively while Hayley Frank led all players with 26. Mama Dembele dished out seven assists in the game.
SERIES BUSINESS
• Sunday's matchup will be the 13th all-time meeting of the two programs. Mizzou holds a 10-2 edge in the combined series.
THE SHOOTAROUND
• The Tigers started the year with an 8-game winning streak, the best since 2015-16 and its 11-2 nonconference record represents the program's best since 2017-18.
• The Tigers 17 wins this season are their most since the 2018-19 campaign.
• With 14 points and 18 rebounds vs. Mississippi State, junior guard Aijha Blackwell recorded her 19th double-double of the season and the 39th of her career.
• Blackwell has 332 rebounds on the season, good for third on the Mizzou all-time single-season chart.
• Hayley Frank became the 39th Tigers player in the 1000-career points club at Georgia on Feb. 17.
• Frank (72) and Lauren Hansen (60) are the first Mizzou WBB teammates to hit 60+ 3-pointers in a season.
• Frank has four-straight games with double-digit points. She totals a team-leading 433 points on the season and has led the Tigers in scoring in 11 contests.
