Women's Basketball Heads to Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, Miss. – University of Missouri women's basketball (15-5, 4-3 SEC) will travel to Starkville to take on Mississippi State (11-7, 2-4 SEC). Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. on SEC Network The Tigers have won back-to-back SEC contests after taking down Vanderbilt and Texas A&M.
Junior forward Hayley Frank knocked down a career-high seven threes while putting up 28 points and grabbing eight rebounds in the Tigers' win over the Aggies. Four Tigers finished in double figures. Joining Frank was Lauren Hansen, Haley Troup and Aijha Blackwell. Blackwell finished with a double double for the ninth-straight game. She currently leads the nation in rebounds per game at 13.4 and is tied for first in the nation with 15 double doubles. Mama Dembele dished out seven assists in the game while scoring eight points.
The Tigers are among the best shooting teams in the nation. Mizzou currently sits in seventh nationally in field goal percentage at 46.9 percent and fifth nationally in three-point percentage at a 39.9 percent clip. Hayley Frank leads the SEC in three-point percentage at 47.5 percent.
