Mizzou cut a 16-point deficit down to one in the game’s final minutes, but comes up just short

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Women's Basketball's (5-4, 1-3 SEC) comeback bid fell just short on Monday evening at Mizzou Arena, as the Tigers fell, 66-64, to LSU (6-6, 4-2 SEC).

However, the scoring turned hot in the second half, as Mizzou shot 63.6 percent from the field. Sophomore guard Aijha Blackwell (Berkely, Mo.) tallied her fifth double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while redshirt junior forward LaDazhia Williams (Bradenton, Fla.) and sophomore guard Lauren Hansen (Long Island, N.Y.) also knocked in 11 and 9 points, respectively.
