COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Track & Field will send squads to three separate meets on the weekend, primarily competing in Lawrence, Kansas in the Rock Chalk Classic from April 30-May 1. A small group of distance runners will also compete in the West Coast Relays and Trial of Miles Kansas City Qualifier on April 30 and May 1, respectively.

Mizzou is back in action after a successful weekend in Des Moines, Iowa at the 111th edition of the Drake Relays. Two Tigers, sophomore Morgan O'Neal (Sylacauga, Ala.) and redshirt freshman Mitch Weber (Saint Clair, Minn.), both captured first place in their events, bringing home a coveted Drake Relays white flag.

Mizzou is set to kick off the weekend's action in Lawrence, as the Tigers will compete against 12 other schools, including old Big 12 foes Kansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech and Iowa State. Live results for the Rock Chalk Classic can be found on PTTiming.com.

The West Coast Relays are set to take place in Fresno, California, where the Tigers will be competing against 24 other teams. Live Results will be available at TrackScoreboard.com and the meet will be streamed live on FloTrack. The Trial of Miles Kansas City Qualifier will also be streamed live on the Citius Mag YouTube with live results available through Heartland Timing.

Freshman Skylar Ciccolini (Lewistown, Pa.) will be back in action this weekend after breaking the school record in the women's javelin throw two weekends ago at the War Eagle Invitational. Ciccolini's throw of 56.00m (183-9) edged out teammate Sophia Rivera (Brentwood, Mo) for the top spot in the record book. For her performance on the weekend, Ciccolini was named SEC Women's Freshman of the Week, her first SEC Weekly honors.

Redshirt junior Ja'Mari Ward (Cahokia, Ill) also returns to the runway, competing in the men's long jump on Friday. Last time out, Ward finished eighth at the Texas Relays with a jump of 7.71m (25-3.5). Ward is also coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2021 NCAA Indoor Championships, in which he reset his own indoor school record in the meet with a leap of 8.11m (26-7.25).

In the men's 800m, redshirt sophomore Chris Conrad (O'Fallon, Ill.) is set to run. Conrad currently ranks 17th in the nation in the event with a time of 1:48.19 that he set earlier this season at the Raleigh Relays.

Freshman William Sinclair (Tauwhere, New Zealand) will hit the track in the men's 1500m. At the Drake Relays, Sinclair ran the 1500m race in a time of 3:43.19, which now ranks fifth in school history.

In his first 5000m race of the season, Thomas George (Gloucester, U.K.) will be one of five Tigers in action out in Fresno. George currently holds the ninth fastest time in school history in the event with a time of 14:09.53.

After the Rock Chalk Classic, Mizzou will get a week off before traveling down to College Station, Texas for the SEC Outdoor Championships from May 13-15. The NCAA West Preliminary Championships will take place two weeks later, also in College Station.
