Indoor Track – Competed in the Shot put at the Missouri Holiday Opener (Dec. 8) and placed fifth, throwing 11.82m (38-9.5) in her first meet wearing the Black and Gold.
Outdoor Track – Had five top-five finishes in the seven meets she competed in during the outdoor season … Her best javelin throw came at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (March 24), where she threw the ninth best distance in program history (43.40m/142-5) and placed first … Finished runner-up in the javelin at the John McDonnell Invitational (April 14) with a throw of 40.05m (131-4) … Finished third in the javelin at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 20) with a toss of 43.06m (141-3) .. Competed in the javelin at the SEC Outdoor Championships (May 12), finishing 16th with a mark of 38.41m (126-0).

Megan competed for Schuyler Co. R-1 High School in Queen City, Mo., under the direction of coaches Nick Wooldrik and Donnie Harn … Was a three-sport athlete, earning multiple-time All-Conference, All-District and All-State selections in basketball and softball … TRACK & FIELD … Earned All-Conference honors in the 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay and discus, All-District honors in the 4x100m relay and discus, All-Sectional honors in the discus and All-State honors in the discus as a freshman in 2014 … Capped freshman season with a fifth-place finish in the discus at the 2014 MSHSSA Class 1-2 State Track & Field Championships … As a junior, earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Sectional and All-State honors in the shot put and discus, as well as All-Conference and All-State honors in the javelin … Finished runner-up in the discus, third in the shot put and fourth in the javelin at the 2016 MSHSSA Class 1-2 State Track & Field Championships … Posted a personal record in the discus at the 2016 State meet, recording a throw of 117-11 … As a senior, earned All-Conference honors in the javelin, shot put, 4x100m relay and discus, All-District honors in the javelin, shot put, 4x100m relay and discus, All-Sectional honors in the javelin and shot put and All-State honors in the javelin and shot put … Finished runner-up in the javelin at the 2017 MSHSSA Class 1-2 State Track & Field Championships, posting a personal record mark of 126-1 … Won the Class 1-2 State Title in the shot put at the 2017 State meet with a throw of 39-6.75.
