COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball returns to Southeastern Conference play this weekend for a three-game series against No. 8 Auburn inside Mizzou Softball Stadium. The two Tiger programs will meet in Mid-Missouri for the first time since 2015.
Each game this weekend will air live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Nate Gatter and former Mizzou Softball captain Ashley Moore will be on the call for Friday's series opener, while Ben Arnet and Moore will lead the duties Saturday and Sunday.
KTGR radio will also broadcast Sunday afternoon's contest live via 105.1 FM and 1580 AM. Jeff Parles and Chad Moller will be on the call across the local airwaves.
Adult general admission and bleacher tickets are available for $8 while youth/senior tickets are $5 each. Reserved chair back seats behind home plate can be purchased for $10. Single-game tickets are available the day of at the Mizzou Softball ticket booth, by calling the Mizzou Athletics ticket office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS or by visiting MUTigers.com/Tickets.

Series History vs. Auburn
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series against Auburn, 7-6.
- In the teams' last meeting, Auburn took two of three in a weekend series in Auburn, Alabama, a season ago (April 14-16, 2017).
- This weekend marks Auburn's first visit to Columbia, Missouri, in three years, as it took two of three contests yet again over Mizzou at University Field (March 27-29, 2015).
- Mizzou managed to salvage one game in each of its past two series' meetings, as Auburn entered play nationally ranked top 10 both times out.
Mizzou Makes Quick Work of Omaha
- The Tigers made quick work of Omaha on Wednesday (April 11) with a 6-0 shutout victory inside Mizzou Softball Stadium. Lauren Rice stole the show, allowing only one hit in the circle and retiring 18 consecutive batters to conclude the game.
- Mizzou's offense produced a balanced attack at the plate, as seven individuals tallied a hit. Rylee Pierce led the way with her fifth three-hit performance this year.
- Kolby Romaine's two-run home run in the first inning gave Mizzou the early edge. The Tigers improved to 16-3 this year when reaching the scoreboard first. Romaine's blast also marked her fifth home run and 23rd RBI of the year, resetting her single-season career-highs in each category.
- It marked the Tigers' seventh shutout victory of the season with their last coming on the road at Arkansas (March 24).
