Mizzou Hosts Saint Louis Friday Riding Seven-Game Win Streak
- Mizzou allows the fewest rebounds per game in the SEC, as opponents grab just 30.8 per game. Mizzou ranks 12th in the nation in that category
- The Tigers are riding a seven-game win streak, their longest since securing 13 straight victories from Nov. 13, 2015 to Jan. 29, 2015. This is the third win streak of seven or more games since Pingeton took over the program.
- With the win over New Orleans, Mizzou has now won 49 consecutive nonconference regular season home games, with the last loss coming to Northwestern on Dec. 3, 2011. The Tigers have won 35 consecutive nonconference games at Mizzou Arena, falling to Eastern Illinois in the Postseason WNIT on March 20, 2013.
- In Mizzou's emphatic win over Kansas State, the Tigers made at least 30 field goals for the first time since Jan. 21, 2016 against Texas A&M. Mizzou shot 51.7 percent from the field then shot 52.7 percent vs. New Orleans. Pingeton's squad has shot above 50 percent in a game four times in the first eight games of the season. The Tigers shot at least 50 percent in just five games all of last season. Mizzou ranks third in the SEC and 14th in the nation in field goal percentage as a team this season, shooting 48.1 percent.
- Amber Smith became the third different Tiger to score at least 20 points in a game this season, joining Sophie Cunningham and Jordan Frericks. The Tigers are 4-1 when a player surpasses 20 points. Mizzou is also 8-0 when Smith has reached double figures in her career.
- Sophomore Jordan Chavis made 28 treys last season, but has already has made 15 in only eight games to begin the 2017-18 campaign.
- Chavis is one of 14 players in the SEC with at least 15 made three-pointers this season. She is one of only two sophomores on that list. She ranks tied for 13th in the league in 3-pointers made per game with 1.9.
- Chavis has made multiple triples in a game 12 times in her career. Mizzou is 10-2 in those games, and 6-0 this season.
- With 1,115 career points and counting, Sophie Cunningham ranks 27th on Mizzou's all-time scoring list and 10th among active SEC players.
- She is the only player in the SEC shooting at least 45 percent from 3-point range, 80 percent from the free throw line and 55 percent from the field.
