COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball preps for its lone match of the week, as it hosts Georgia Friday (Oct. 20) night. First serve inside the Hearnes Center is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
The match will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN with Nate Gatter and former Tiger Courtney Meek on the call.
The Hearnes Center ticket office will open at 5 p.m. CT with adult tickets available for $8 apiece and youth/seniors (ages 65-plus) tickets available for $5 each. Event doors will open one hour prior to first serve.

- Tiger fans are encouraged to arrive early prior to Friday evening's match and attend the popular Kids Karnival, featuring a bounce house, appearance by Truman the Tiger, Mizzou cheerleaders and more!
Series Snapshot vs. Georgia
- Mizzou leads the all-time series, 5-4.
- Mizzou leads the series in all-time matches played in Columbia, Mo., 2-1.
- In the last meeting, Mizzou tallied a 3-0 sweep over the Bulldogs in Athens, Ga. (Nov. 23, 2016).
Tigers' Blocking Game Continues to be Team Strength
- Despite not producing 10-plus total blocks in its past three matches, Mizzou's top team strength this season remains its premier blocking game.
- Overall this year, the Tigers' 224.5 total team blocks ranks eighth in the country and first in the SEC. Additionally, their 2.88 total blocks per set ranks 13th in the NCAA and second-best in the SEC.
- Individually, junior Alyssa Munlyn's 122 total blocks ranks third in the NCAA and first in the SEC. Munlyn's 1.56 blocks per set also ranks eighth-highest in the NCAA and second-best in the conference.
Mizzou Faring Well in SEC Action
- Mizzou has performed well across the board in its conference schedule so far, resulting in a 5-2 record and fourth place mark in the current SEC standings.
- Statistically in SEC only matches, the Tigers collectively rank Top-5 in opponent hitting percentage (.173 - second), blocks per set (2.79 - second), service aces (1.23 - fourth) and hitting percentage (.247 - fourth).
- The Tigers are also represented individually in SEC only statistical rankings, as freshman Dariana Hollingsworth's 0.48 aces per set ranks first, Munlyn's 1.69 blocks per set ranks first and .446 hitting percentage ranks fifth, senior Courtney Eckenrode's 6.96 assists per set ranks ninth and redshirt senior Melanie Crow's 0.32 aces per set ranks 10th.
- Eckenrode and redshirt senior Kira Larson each tallied a double-double in Knoxville this past weekend, as they sit with seven and six double-doubles overall this season, respectively.
