OPENING TIP
• Mizzou started the season 13-0 for the first time in program history with an unblemished run through nonconference play, passing the 1982-83 team that started 9-0 for the best in school annals. The Tigers' have gone 3-4 during the SEC slate, earning victories over No. 7/6 Mississippi State on Jan. 14, No. 22/23 Florida on Jan. 24 and at Georgia on Jan. 7. Mizzou earned a 15-point victory over the Gators on Sunday afternoon.
• After being tied 38-38 at half against Florida, Mizzou used a 24-14 third quarter to pull ahead for good.
• Morgan Stock scored a season-high 20 points in 25 minutes of reserve action, including four 3-pointers, which ties her season-high. She was one point shy of her career-best scoring performance.
• The Tigers are ranked No. 22 in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 poll, marking six consecutive weeks that Mizzou has been ranked nationally, which last occurred from Feb. 5 - March 11, 1984. When the Tigers broke into the Top 25 five weeks ago, it marked the first national ranking for the program since Jan. 9, 2006, which lasted only one week. Mizzou is also No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches Poll this week.

• The Tigers rank 18th nationally in scoring margin (+14.5), 19th in rebounding margin (+8.8), 26th in free throw percentage (74.8), 31st in field goal percentage (44.5), 37th in field goal percentage defense (35.8), 39th in scoring offense (74.1) and 46th in 3-pointers per game (7.3).
• Forwards Jordan Frericks and Cierra Porter are both shooting 55 percent from the field. Mizzou's starting five is shooting 50 percent from the floor and 39 percent from 3-point range.
• Freshman guard Sophie Cunningham leads the team in scoring (13.9) and ranks 11th in the SEC. She is the highest-scoring freshman in the league while Cierra Porter is the second-best (10.6) in 24th. Cunningham has been named SEC Freshman of the Week four times while Porter has also received the honor on one occasion.
• Mizzou is 2-6 all-time against LSU and has dropped the last four contests in the series since joining the SEC in 2012-13. Mizzou last defeated LSU on Jan. 2, 1988, earning a 67-51 victory in Baton Rouge for one of 18 victories for the eventual Big Eight Conference runner-ups.

• The Tigers are 8-12 overall and 2-5 during SEC play.
• LSU won 53-46 at Georgia on Sunday afternoon, snapping a 4-game losing streak.
• Nikki Fargas is 91-62 in her fifth season in Baton Rouge. Previously, Fargas was the head coach at UCLA from 2008-11. She has led her teams to the NCAA Tournament for six consecutive seasons, including two trips to the Sweet 16 (2013, 2014) since taking over at LSU.
• Junior forward Alexis Hyder (Austin, Texas/North Texas) is the leader scorer and rebounder with 10.3 points and 7.7 boards per game.
