"Like you were saying, since your offense isn't working you have to rely on your defense, and that's what you do. We come together and do our best to not let our offense dictate the game so we come together and play better defense."

"Throughout my career I've always been able to adjust, so it's not really anything different, just making sure I'm doing what I have to do to impact the team."

"In practice we're emphasizing always finding a body, everybody's crashing the boards. Rebounding, in the end, is what's going to make you win games. It's one of the most important components to winning a basketball game."

"When we hit that three-minute mark we kind of huddled together and we wanted to win that last media. We said, `hey we talked about closing out games, let's close this game out.' It definitely wasn't pretty at times, but we found a way to win and so I was really proud we were able to do that."
On what stood out about the defense...
"I still think we had a lot of breakdowns, but just trying to stay assignment correct, knowing where the shooters were at, making sure we're playing inside-out since they were really looking to drive, and making sure you can really rely on your own defense."
