Columbia, Mo. - The Missouri Gymnastics team will head to Norman, Okla., to compete in the 2011 NCAA Regional Championship on April 2. The event will take place in the Lloyd Noble Center at 5 p.m. The bid marks the Tigers' 10th consecutive regional appearance, and the 23rd appearance in program history. This will also be the second time this season that the Tigers have competed in the Lloyd Noble Center.

In addition to the six competing teams, there will be five all-around competitors from non-qualifying schools as well as individual event qualifiers participating in the each regional competition.
The top two finishing teams and top two all-around competitors will advance to the 2011 NCAA National Championship in Cleveland, Ohio. The top two event finalists from a non-qualifying team will also advance to the national championship (in that event only).
The NCAA National Championship will take place on April 15-17 at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. There will be a practice day on April 14, and the semifinal rounds will begin at 12 p.m. on Friday, April 15.
