On what happened when Oklahoma State made its run: "When you're up by 10 in the second half and get beat by, whatever it was, that's ridiculous and shouldn't happen. They made a run at us in the second half and we didn't have an answer for it. I don't know exactly what happened but it just felt like they kept getting to the free-throw line on us. It didn't really seem like they were making that many great offensive moves. They kept getting to the free-throw line after offensive rebounds and things like that.
On OSU's zone defense: "They went to a zone and we started missing shots - that kind of exacerbated the situation. I think it forced us to have different people to shoot on the perimeter. We just didn't make the shots. We've struggled against zones earlier this year, too."
Playing on the road in the Big 12: "This is my third year in the Big 12 Conference and this game really isn't a surprise to me as every team is going to be tough at home. I guess we have young players who weren't ready for it today and it showed. We're going to have to be ready. We don't have a choice. We have to play some of the best teams in the country in this conference and we have to play a lot of them on the road."
Head coach Cindy Stein
On what happened: "We got in foul trouble and that was the key. We kept putting them at the line and when you do that to a team that shoots 75 percent, that's not smart."
When asked if this game slipped away from the Tigers: "Yes. I'm real disappointed. I'm really disappointed in a number of things about this game - how we handled this game as a team and other points we can't control. It's just one of those games."
On OSU's zone defense: "We had some wide-open shots but we weren't hitting them. We're pretty good shooters but when you're not hitting them, it puts more pressure on the next shot. We weren't real patient on that. We've had some trouble when we're too wide-open. I've told them if you can't hit an open 15-foot shot as a Division I player, you're not going to last long."
