Defense: The 41 points scored by Nebraska are the fewest points scored by an opponent in either Big 8 or Big 12 Conference play since Iowa State scored 41 points on Feb. 21, 1993 as the Tigers defeated the Cyclones, 64-41.
Best start: Missouri's 12-3 start is the Tigers' best-ever start for 15 games during head coach Cindy Stein's four-year reign at MU. MU went 11-4 in both the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 seasons and had a 9-6 mark in the 1998-99 season.
Keep shooting: Natalie Bright scored 17 first-half points against the Cornhuskers. That performance gave Bright four straight halves scoring 10 or more points.
Another good start: After Nebraska scored the game's opening basket, MU went on a 12-0 run and was never threatened.
Shooting: Missouri's six first-half 3-point field goals equaled or surpassed the Tigers' total in nine games.
Lozier's presence: Tracy Lozier scored eight first-half points. Other than scoring 12 points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, those eight points were the most points Lozier had scored in a game all season.
Still intact: Kerensa Barr, the nation's leading free-throw shooter, made both of her attempts from the foul line. She has now made 23 straight free throws and 75-of-80 this season.
Career marks: Wannette Smith tied her career high of nine rebounds ... Smith also tied her high mark of two blocked shots ... Melanie Fisher had a personal-best four steals, surpassing her previous high of three tied last time out against Kansas ... Tracy Lozier had a career-high five assists.
