Head Coach Cindy Stein
"Every game is extremely important for us to reach the goals we have set in front of ourselves. Every time we play KU, we are always excited and want to come out on top. This gets us a step closer to where we want to be. It is a tremendous feeling. As a coach watching our team execute the things we've been working on, those situations toward regulation to get back into the game and into overtime, I was just extremely pleased."
"It is a memorable win in the fact that we were able to do it in front of 10,000 people. This was a very special crowd and I think they helped us. They were into the game and we're appreciative of their efforts. I also think it is extremely special any time we can beat KU. "
"Tracy's been stepping it up. We see this kind of Tracy every day in practice. That is why it has been a frustration as a coach when we're not seeing it in a game. But we know she is very capable of this kind of performance."
"Kerensa really held us together in the first half. She had some great drives to the basket. We were struggling a little bit offensively and Kerensa really came through on that."
