Missouri used a 7-0 run in two minutes to take a 23-22 lead. However, Missouri would not ever lead again in the contest.
The Tigers suffered from a cold start in the second half. MU missed its first six shots and broke the ice with a Melanie Fisher field goal three minutes into the second half.
Fisher and Barr scored MU's first nine points in the second half.
The exhibition game loss was the first for Missouri in Cindy Stein's four-year reign as head coach.
Former Tiger Amanda Lassiter lead the Houston Jaguars with 19 points, nine rebounds, four blocked shots and two steals.
