Former Missouri great Morgan Eye enters her second season on the staff as a graduate student manager following a standout career from 2011-15. She plays an essential role in opponent film and video breakdown, oversight of the scout team, position breakdown, marketing for the Tiger Paws and Show-Me Squad, along with numerous other duties.
Eye holds the program record for career (367), season (112) and single-game (11) 3-pointers. She played in 127 career games (84 starts) and averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest. In over 50 contests, she reached double figures in scoring.
As a senior in 2014-15, Eye led the SEC with 84 made 3-pointers and was invited to the State Farm College Women's 3-Point Championship. She tied a WNIT record with nine triples in a second-round victory at Kansas State.
Eye finished second nationally with an average of 3.48 treys per game and sixth in the NCAA with 106 triples as a junior. During her sophomore season, she set a program record with 112 shots from long range and led the country with an average of 3.5 treys per game. She established a new program record with 11 baskets from long range vs. Auburn on Jan. 6, 2013.
A native of Montrose, Mo., Eye was a first-team all-state performer by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association and Missouri Sportswriters. She led her team to a perfect 31-0 record and Class 1 state title in 2010. During her prep career, she set a school record with 2,537 points. She averaged 23.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 4.6 steals per game as a senior, when she led her team to a 28-1 mark.
Eye earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the Trulaske School of Business in May 2015 and is pursuing a master's in Educational, School and Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Positive Coaching.
