Kearsten Peoples joined the Mizzou Made Academics staff fulltime in August 2021 and serves as Assistant Director of Academics. She currently is the academic coordinator for Gymnastics and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field. Peoples journey at Mizzou began as a thrower for the track and field team. After a few years of being a post-collegiate athlete, she joined Mizzou Made as a graduate assistant within Student Athlete Development.
During her career, Peoples has made a few stops as she continued to gain the skills and knowledge to be the best advocate and resource for student-athletes. After pursuing a postgraduate position at the University of Florida, Peoples joined Southern Utah University in a dual role of academic advising and student-athlete development.
Before her return to Mizzou, Peoples was an Athletic Academic Advisor for the University of South Carolina’s Men’s and Women’s Track and Field programs.
A native of Ottawa, KS., Kearsten graduated with her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Human Development and Family studies at the University of Missouri.
