2021 Outdoor 

• Broke own school record in 3,000m steeple chase at SEC Outdoor Championships, running a personal-best 9:56.87… good for fourth in the event
• Participated in the 3,000m steeple chase at NCAA West Preliminary, finishing 31st
• Finished second in the 3,000m steeple chase at War Eagle Invitational, running a 10:14.32 time

2020 Cross Country

• Finished eighth at the inaugural Gans Creek Classic (9/27/19) with a 6K time of 21:55.0
• Posted a season-best 6K time of 21:03.4 at the SEC Championships (11/1/19)
• Placed 20^th at the NCAA Midwest Regional (11/15/19) with a 6K time of 21:15.2

2020 Indoor 

• Won the 800m run at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge (2/22/20) with a time of 2:13.11, a new personal record
• Posted the seventh-best time in program history and won the 3000m run with a time of 9:23.79 at the Aggie Invitational (1/25/20)
• Competed in the 3000m run at the SEC Indoor Championships (2/29/20), placing 11^th with a time of 9:34.90
• Ran a leg of Mizzou’s DMR team which finished second at the SEC Indoor Championships (2/28/20) with the seventh-best time in program history, 11:23.80

2020 Outdoor 

• Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic

2019 Cross Country 

• Finished second at the Brooks Twilight Classic (9/1/18) with a time of 17:46.88

2019 Indoor 

• Finished second in the mile run at the Husker Invitational (2/2/19) with a final time of 4:52.05
• Set a personal record in the 3000m run at the Tyson Invitational (2/8/19) with a time of 9:32.62. This mark moved Menghini into tenth all-time in Mizzou record books and earned her a fourth-place finish.
• Finished fourth at the SEC Indoor Championships (2/23/19) in the 3000m run with a final time of 9:33.57

2019 Outdoor 

• Finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase at the Herm Wilson Invitational (3/22/19) with a mark of 10:42.26
• Set a school record and a personal record in the 3000m steeplechase at the SEC Outdoor Championships (5/10/19) with a final time of 10:07.76. This earned Menghini a third place finish.
• Competed at the NCAA West Preliminary (5/24/19) in the 3000m steeplechase, recording a final time of 10:24.29

2018 Cross Country

• Ran in five races for the Tigers...Her best time came at the Commodore Classic (Sept. 16) where she ran a 19:09.7 in the 5000m while placing eighth on the team and 86^th overall … Her best finish of the season was at the Bradley Classic (Oct. 13) where she finished third on the team and 102^nd overall with a time of 22:43.7 in the 6000m.

2018 Indoor 

• Her best finish in the mile run came at the Arkansas Invitational (Jan. 12) where she finished 10^th overall with a time of 5:04.46 … Her best time in the 800m run came at the Music City Challenge (Feb. 10) with a time of 2:19.24 placing 39^th overall … Set a new personal record in the 3000m run at the SEC Indoor Championships (Feb. 24) with a time of 9:44.64 while placing 10^th overall.

2018 Outdoor

• Her best finish in the 3000m steeplechase came at the SFSU Distance Carnival (March 30) placing 37^th overall with a time of 11:29.69 … Set a new personal record in the 800m run at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 21) with a time of 2:16.62 while placing fifth overall…Set a new personal record in the 1500m run at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 21) with a time of 4:35.59 while placing fourth overall…Her best finish in the 5000m run came at the Drake Relays (April 26) placing 17^th overall with a time of 17:51.35.

HIGH SCHOOL … Melissa ran for Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, Mo., under coaches Jason Miller and Chris Moore … Notched five track and field and two cross country top-10 finishes in state championships, including back to back finishes in the 3200m run in 2015 and 2016 … Won the 800m state title at the 2016 Missouri State Track & Field Championships … COLLEGE… Began her college career at New Hampshire where she was all-conference and helped her team to a conference championship in the American East Conference … Placed seventh in the NEICAAA XC Championship in the 5k.

PERSONAL

Parents are Matthew and Terri Menghini … Born Dec. 29, 1997 in Fenton, Mo. … Sister Krista Menghini ran for SIU Carbondale … Plans to major in Statistics at Mizzou.
