
Gymnastics Selected as Two Seed at NCAA Seattle Regional

The Tigers are one of four SEC programs that will compete in Seattle for a spot at the NCAA Championship.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 7 University of Missouri gymnastics will travel to Seattle as the two seed for its NCAA Regional meet, competing against No. 10 Georgia (three seed), No. 21 Arizona and No. 26 Arizona State on Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. CT at Alaska Airlines Arena.
The nine-team field for the NCAA Seattle Gymnastics Regional is as follows:
-No. 2 Oklahoma
-No. 7 Missouri
-No. 10 Georgia
-No. 15 Auburn
-No. 20 Nebraska
-No. 21 Arizona
-No. 26 Arizona State
-No. 29 Illinois
-No. 35 UC Davis
The second quad consists of No. 2 Oklahoma (one seed), No. 15 Auburn (four seed), No. 20 Nebraska and the winner of the dual meet between No. 29 Illinois and No. 35 UC Davis. All NCAA Regional meets will be live streamed on ESPN+.
The top two teams from each quad meet advance to the NCAA Seattle Regional Final on Sunday, April 6 at 7 p.m. From there, the top two finishers receive an automatic berth to the national championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
In addition, the top all-around competitor and top event specialist from round two at each regional (who is not on a team advancing to nationals) advance to the national championship. Event specialist qualifiers only compete in the events they qualified.
The 2025 campaign marks the 10th consecutive season that MU qualified for NCAA Regional competition. The team's No. 7 ranking and two-seed placement is its best in program history. This also marks the fourth straight year that the Tigers have earned a top-16 seed in the NCAA Gymnastics Championship.
Mizzou is in the midst of one of its best seasons in program history, ending its regular season with its highest NQS score (197.510). The Tigers posted their best score in program history of 198.100 in the team's final home of the year against Auburn and their best scores on beam (49.575) and floor (49.725) at Arkansas and Zou to the Lou, respectively. Missouri competed in Session II of the Southeastern Conference Championship for the first time on Saturday, finishing in fourth and tying its best finish at the meet since joining the SEC.

The No. 7 Tigers continue postseason action with the NCAA Seattle Regional on Friday, April 4 at noon as the two seed and will compete against No. 10 Georgia, the three seed, No. 21 Arizona and No. 26 Arizona State at Alaska Airlines Arena. All NCAA Regional action will be live streamed on ESPN+.
