
Women's Golf Takes on FSU Match Up This Weekend

The University of Missouri women's golf team heads to Tallahassee, Florida, for the Florida State Match-Up, beginning on Friday, March 21.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The 2025 Florida State Match-Up is a three-day tournament at Seminole Legacy Golf Club, playing 18 holes on each day for a total of 54 holes. Friday and Saturday will begin with 7:45-9:35 a.m. CT tee times and the final round on Sunday will tee off at 7-9 a.m. CT.
The 2025 field consists of teams from 13 different schools, including Mizzou. The Tigers will compete alongside No. 6 Florida State, No. 25 Houston, No. 46 Alabama, Abilene Christian, Chattanooga, Florida International, Houston, Illinois, Indiana, Kent State, North Florida, Troy and Tulane.
The schools are set to compete on a par-72 course that measures 6,250 yards in length.
HOMECOMING
Mizzou coach Caroline Westrup is returning to where it all started. As a collegiate golfer, Westrup was the first four-time All-American in the history of Florida State women's golf. In her 37 career events as a Seminole, she recorded a stroke average of 73.23, claiming five individual titles and 18 top-10 finishes, including a 12th-place finish at the 2007 national championship.
Westrup was inducted into the WGCA Players Hall of Fame in December 2024 for her time at Florida State.

LAST TIME OUT
Mizzou continues its season following a seventh-place finish at the MountainView Collegiate in a field of 14 teams, including another top-10 finish from senior Ffion Tynan and a career-low 54-hole score of 227 for freshman Irene Garcia Sanchez.
TIGERS IN THE RANKINGS
With just three regular-season tournaments and matches left before the SEC Championship, Mizzou currently ranks 70th in the NCAA rankings – an improvement of nine spots from last year's final mark. Ffion Tynan leads the team with an individual ranking of No. 167.
