COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou women's golf graduate Addie Dobson will compete in the 2026 U.S. Women's Open from Thursday to Sunday at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.
Dobson led Mizzou to a historic 2025-26 season that included four tournament victories, the most since the 1987-88 season.
"I'm so proud to represent Mizzou on a global scale, Dobson said. "The U.S. open is one of the biggest events in women's golf. People knowing that a kid that goes to Mizzou can do it, Mizzou is not always taken as seriously as it should be, but Mizzou can compete everywhere"
With Dobson, the Tigers advanced to the NCAA Championships for the second time in program history and earned their highest overall finish in 12th.
The Jacksonville, Illinois native posted eight top-20 results this season, including a career-best fourth-place finish at the Johnie Imes Invitational.
Throughout Dobson's tenure, Mizzou improved from 120th in the national rankings to 31st.
Individually, Dobson improved her stroke average from 76.67 to 72.38 during her time in a Tigers uniform.
Dobson qualified for the major with a first-place finish in a U.S. qualifier at Meadowbrook Country Club in Ballwin, Missouri, on April 29th.
