Three Tigers in the Top 20 at Florida State

University of Missouri women's golf opened play at the Florida State Match-Up, finishing the first day with three golfers in the top-20 in a field of 73 golfers.
Senior Ffion Tynan led the Tigers in the first round, finishing the day tied for 10th with a two-over 74. Her day was highlighted by a consistent seven pars on the back-nine, shooting an even-par 36 after the turn.
Freshman Alexandra Berglund and junior Jade Zamora also ended inside the top-20, carding three-over 75s to finish tied for 17th. Berglund paced the Tigers with three birdies on the day, posting back-to-back birdies on holes 13 and 14.
The Tigers are currently tied for fifth of 13 schools with a team score of +16, just one shot out of fourth place heading into day two.
The second round of the Florida State Match-Up is set for Saturday morning with tee times set for 7:30 a.m. CT.
