COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Track and Field claimed six podium spots at the John McDonnell Invitational on Friday in Fayetteville, Ark.
Claudina Diaz finished first in the high jump as she cleared a personal-best 1.85m (6-0.75). The jump ranks No. 6 nationally this season.
Ryder James claimed first in the 3000m with a time of 8:29.82.
Atina Kamasi and Kaesha George earned a one-two finish in the javelin at 47.91m (157-2.0) and 44.91m (147-4.0), respectively. George's mark is the second consecutive personal best for the junior.
Mirieli Santos took home the triple jump crown for the Tigers with a leap of 13.04m (42-9.50).
NOTABLE RESULTS
- Euphenie Andre posted a personal best mark of 12.93m (42-5.25) in the triple jump
- Robert Hines (22.30) and Marc Poland (22.51) each ran career-best times in the 200m
- Quinton Brown claimed fourth in the high jump clearing a personal best 2.06m (6-9.0)
- Petar Canak took first in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 6.91m (22-8.0).
- Zachary Charles (53.28) and David Buckner (53.78) earned career bests in the 400m hurdles
