Media Credentials
Credentials (press and photography passes) issued by Mizzou Athletics are required to cover Mizzou Athletics at all regular-season events that take place on the Mizzou campus or an event in which Mizzou has been assigned to distribute credentials.
Credentials are provided to working members of the media to assist in the coverage of Mizzou Athletics events. Credentials do not imply any guarantee to access. Credentials are limited to single-event or single-season duration. Credentials are not transferable and are revocable and must be worn at all times within Memorial Stadium.
Loaning or transferring credentials to another person may result in immediate permanent revocation of media credentials and ejection from the event of the original holder and unauthorized holder of the credentials. Failure to adhere to the requirements of this policy may result in revocation of credentials for the representative and their outlet. All credentials are subject to space availability restrictions in working media areas at various facilities.
Application & Approval
Media representatives must apply for credentials through the Southeastern Conference credential site. Credential approval is at the discretion of Mizzou Athletics’ Strategic Communications Department.Â
Single-game media credentials should be requested by noon CT on Tuesday of game week. On game days, media credentials are available at Media Will Call at Gate 5W outside the press box elevator at the southwest corner of the press box starting three hours until kickoff.Â
Photographers and videographers are required to wear disposable vests while on the field. Vests are distributed via Media Will Call at Gate 5W. New vests are distributed for every home contest.
Media credentials may be issued to working members of the media representing recognized media outlets in the business of news gathering/sports reporting as a primary function of their business. The types of media outlets eligible for credentials include newspapers, websites, magazines, wire services, college (sport-specific) publications, TV, radio and podcasts. The dissemination of editorial content must be a primary purpose of the media outlet, and the outlet must demonstrate a record of sustained, original coverage of college sports, on a regular basis.
Credentials will not be issued to representatives whose outlet exists solely as a platform for distributing unoriginal content (press releases, press conference footage or aggregate news sites.) Online outlets should typically be affiliated with a national or regional media organization; or host a website that provides substantial coverage of college athletics and/or Mizzou Athletics, and employs at least one full-time, permanent employee responsible for producing the site’s content. Outlets that are message boards without regular, substantial news/editorial/feature coverage by a full-time journalist could be denied credentials. Representatives should be on assignment for that outlet with specific editorial assignment or will be subject to revocation.
Mizzou Athletics may prioritize working media credential requests while considering the following factors:
- Broadcast partners, including TV and radio personnel responsible for live broadcasts of Mizzou Athletics.
- Full-time local beat reporters who cover Mizzou on a daily basis for large-scale local print, online and broadcast outlets.
- Full-time radio and TV personnel producing reports on Mizzou Athletic events.
- Large-scale national outlets, including national newspapers, magazines, TV stations, websites and more.
- University-recognized student publications and student outlets that provide regular coverage of Mizzou Athletics.Â
- Visiting media (print, website, TV, radio) from recognized outlets that regularly cover Mizzou’s opponent, using the same criteria listed above.
Access and Conduct
Access to the sixth-floor press box is restricted to credentialed media and personnel only. Proper conduct and professionalism are expected at all times.
Only photographers, videographers and media with proper sideline credentials may access Faurot Field. All must adhere to designated areas and follow instructions from event staff. Mizzou Athletics follows NCAA guidelines regarding media on the sidelines. Photographers and videographers are permitted to shoot along the sideline but prohibited to shoot between the 25-yard lines. Photographers and videographers are permitted to shoot from the goal lines on both sidelines and behind the restraining line in the end zone.Â
Credential holders are not permitted to seek autographs, request personal photographs/videos, solicit/take equipment, etc. from Mizzou Athletics student-athletes or coaches. Such actions or requests will be viewed as a breach of professional conduct and are grounds for credential revocation.
Postgame interviews with Coach Eliah Drinkwitz and student-athletes will take place in the Defensive Meeting Room in the South End Zone Facility. There is a visiting team interview room available outside the visitor’s locker room in the southeast corner of Memorial Stadium.

The Memorial Stadium photo workroom is located in the southwest tunnel of the stadium, just past the Mizzou weight room/locker room entrance.
