COLUMBIA, Mo. - No. 3 Missouri wrestling welcomes No. 18 Oklahoma to Hearnes Center in Columbia on Friday, Dec. 1. The match begins at 7 p.m. CT and can be streamed on FloWrestling.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Tigers handled business in their last dual, topping No. 21 Arizona State 39-6 at home on Nov. 19.
- Falls would bookend the match, with redshirt sophomore Noah Surtin (125) and redshirt senior Zach Elam (285) getting pins in 1:28 and 1:38, respectively.
- Mizzou added three technical falls (Brock Mauller, Peyton Mocco and Colton Hawks) and three major (Josh Edmond, Keegan O'Toole and Clayton Whiting) decisions along with the two falls.
- The 39-6 win marked the largest margin of victory for Tiger Style over the Sun Devils in program history.
COUGAR CLASHIN'
- Missouri will travel to SIUE for the Cougar Clash on Saturday, Dec. 2, inside First Community Arena.
- Last season, the Tigers took home two weight titles at the Clash in Edwardsville, Illinois, with Zeke Seltzer claiming the top spot at 133 pounds and Clayton Whiting claiming first in the 184-pound bracket.
- Four additional MU wrestlers claimed second place (Joel Mylin - 149, Jerrdon Fisher - 157, Sean Harman - 184, Jesse Cassatt - 197), while all 15 Tigers placed in their respective brackets.
ALL-TIME VS. OKLAHOMA
- Missouri is 15-42-0 all-time in dual matches with the Oklahoma Sooners.
- The Tigers have won five of the last six duals between the two programs.
LAST TIME VS. THE SOONERS
- When visiting, Mizzou took over Norman, Oklahoma, topping the Sooners 33-3 on Feb. 3, 2023.
- The Tigers saw wins at nine out of 10 weights and totaled four bonus-point victories.
- Noah Surtin (8-0), Peyton Mocco (12-3) and Rocky Elam (15-4) all won by major decision, while Keegan O'Toole earned the fall (4:05).
THE EDMOND ERA
- Coming off a redshirt season, Josh Edmond returns to the Missouri lineup at 141 pounds after Allan Hart's graduation in the spring.
- Edmond filled in at 149 pounds for the Tigers during the 2021-22 season, while teammate Brock Mauller took a redshirt, and was an NCAA qualifier at the weight.
- The redshirt sophomore ranks 16th at 141 pounds by FloWrestling and is off to a 3-1 start for the 2023-24 season.

BROCK O'CLOCK
- Redshirt senior Brock Mauller has taken the three-point takedown rule change and ran with it, totaling three technical falls in his first four matches of the 2023-24 season.
- During his freshman season (2018-19), Mauller totaled five tech falls, which remains his career single-season high.

- The Tigers have eight wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their weight per four major publications. Additionally, six are ranked in the top 10 of their weight class by FloWrestling.
- Keegan O'Toole (No. 2) and Rocky Elam (No. 18) are on the FloWrestling pound-for-pound ranking.
TWO-TIME O'TOOLE
- Entering the 2023-24 season, junior Keegan O'Toole is a two-time champion twice.
- O'Toole won his second-consecutive NCAA Championship at 165 pounds in March. The Hartland, Wisconsin native defeated David Carr of Iowa State in the finals, 8-2.
- Following the national championship, O'Toole traveled to Tirana, Albania, in October, competing in and winning the U23 World Championships at 74 kg. The championship marks his second after winning the Junior World Title in 2021 at 74 kg.
