Mizzou Wrestling Credential Request
Thank you for your interest in Mizzou wrestling during the 2025-26 season. In order to apply for a credential, please fill out the form below. All credentials will be granted on a match-by-match basis, and individuals will need to fill out this form for each event they would like to attend. No season-long credentials will be issued.
APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCESS/CREDENTIAL APPROVAL
Credentials are provided to working members of the media to assist in the coverage of Mizzou wrestling events. Credentials are not transferable, revocable and must be worn at all times within the Hearnes Center.
Application and Approval
• Credentials must be requested 48 hours before the scheduled event. Media Will Call is located on the east side of Hearnes Center and opens 90 minutes before the start time for credential pickup.
• Media credentials may be issued to working members of the media representing recognized media outlets in the business of news gathering/sports reporting as a primary function of their business. The types of media outlets eligible for credentials include newspapers, websites, magazines, wire services, college (sport-specific) publications, TV, radio and podcasts. The dissemination of editorial content must be a primary purpose of the media outlet, and the outlet must demonstrate a record of sustained, original coverage of college sports on a regular basis.
• Credentials will not be issued to representatives whose outlet exists solely as a platform for distributing unoriginal content (press releases, press conference footage or aggregate news sites). Online outlets should typically be affiliated with a national or regional media organization, or host a website that provides substantial coverage of college athletics and/or Mizzou Athletics, and employ at least one full-time, permanent employee responsible for producing the site’s content. Outlets that are message boards without regular, substantial news/editorial/feature coverage by a full-time journalist could be denied credentials. Representatives should be on assignment for that outlet with a specific editorial assignment or will be subject to revocation.
Access and Conduct
• Access to the floor is restricted to credentialed media and personnel only. Proper conduct and professionalism are expected at all times.
• Photographers and videographers are permitted to shoot along the mat but are not permitted to go onto the mat. Photographers and videographers must avoid positioning in front of the head table and blocking advertisements.
• Matside space is limited, and all credentialed photographers are responsible for sharing access respectfully. Repeated violations of this policy may result in removal from the sideline and/or loss of future credential privileges.
• Credential holders are not permitted to seek autographs, request personal photographs/videos, solicit/take equipment, etc., from Mizzou Athletics student-athletes or coaches. Such actions or requests will be viewed as a breach of professional conduct and are grounds for credential revocation.
• Post-match interviews with Coach Brian Smith and student-athletes will take place in the volleyball video room. A strategic communications staff member will lead media there following the event.
• No flash photography allowed while the teams are wrestling.
• No tripods or chairs are allowed to be set up matside.
Match Day Operations
• Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided for working media. Network and password information is available on seatcards.

• These policies aim to ensure a professional and efficient environment for media coverage of wrestling matches at Hearnes Center, while also maintaining the integrity and safety of the event for all participants and attendees.
