TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - No. 9 University of Missouri gymnastics dropped a heartbreaker at No. 7 Alabama on Friday. The Crimson Tide outscored the Tigers, 197.500 - 196.775.

- In the first rotation on bars, senior Alisa Sheremeta led the Tigers with a 9.875. Junior Helen Hu returned to the bars lineup for the first time this year, earning a 9.800.
- Freshman Jocelyn Moore stuck her vault, scoring a team-high 9.925 to win the event.
- On floor, Mizzou was led by three Tigers as freshmen Amari Celestine, Moore and Sheremeta all claimed scores of 9.875.
- During the final rotation on beam, two Tigers scored above a 9.9. Junior Sienna Schreiber earned a 9.925, while Hu posted an event-winning score of 9.95.
- The National Qualifying Score (NQS) procedure was implemented at the start of week eight. With Mizzou's 196.775 team score at Alabama, the 196.275 scored at Auburn will be dropped from the Tigers' average.
