No. 9 Gymnastics Set for Top-10 Tangle at No. 7 Alabama

COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri gymnastics, ranked ninth nationally, hits the road for a top-10 matchup at No. 7 Alabama on Friday, Feb. 9. The meet will air on SEC Network with Steve Schlanger and Ashley Miles Greig calling all the action.
SERIES SNAPSHOT
- During the 2021 season, the Tigers battled the Crimson Tide and ultimately dropped a close contest, 195.775-195.750.
- In the all-time series against Alabama, Mizzou has fallen to Alabama in every meeting.
#MIZ NOTABLES
- Heading into week eight, the Tigers are ranked ninth in the country, including ranked in the top 15 in each event.
- Junior Sienna Schreiber is ranked third overall in the All-Around category.
- Last time out, Mizzou tied for its' third-highest score in program history (197.350) in the tri-meet with Arkansas and LSU.
- Two Tigers set career bests in the tri-meet. Junior Hollyn Patrick collected a 9.95 on bars. Freshman Jocelyn Moore recorded a 9.95 on floor.
- The Tigers last defeated a top-five team during the 2017 campaign vs. then-No. 5 Florida in Columbia.
