
Mizzou Tennis Hits the Road to Face No. 3 Georgia & No. 22 Tennessee

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis hits the road for a pair of SEC matches this weekend, as the Tigers are set to face No. 3 Georgia on Friday and No. 22 Tennessee on Sunday. Friday's match in Athens is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. CT, while Sunday's match in Knoxville is slated for 10 a.m. CT.
Last week, Mizzou dropped a pair of matches to SEC foes, falling to Alabama, 4-3, on Friday, March 26 and to No. 17 Auburn, 4-1, on Sunday, March 28.
Mizzou was represented once again in the Oracle/ITA National Rankings on Tuesday (March 30), as junior Bronte Murgett (Holmfirth, Great Britain) moved up 46 spots to No. 76 in the National Singles Rankings. Mizzou's doubles team of Murgett and senior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) checked in at No. 69 in the National Doubles Rankings.
