Tiger lineup adds sophomore Viktor Einarsson for his season debut
AUBURN, Ala. – Mizzou Men's Golf will kick off their week in Auburn, Ala. to compete in the Tiger Invitational presented by Jason Dufner. The 3-day, Auburn-hosted event will again feature a 54-hole stroke play tournament with 18 holes each day.
The Tigers will face off against a highly competitive 16-team field: Auburn, Auburn "B" Team, Alabama, UAB, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Southern, LSU, Mississippi State, South Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
WHERE: The event will take place in Opelika, Ala. at Grand National on the Lake Course (Par-72, 7,289 yards).
WHEN: The Tiger Invitational kicks-off on Monday, March 15 and wraps up on Wednesday, March 17. The tee times begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning with the last group starting at 10:30 a.m.

INDIVIDUAL: Tommy Boone
Highlighting the Tiger lineup this coming week is veteran Rory Franssen (Inverness, Scotland). Franssen carded his 5th round of par or better this season in his most recent event, the LSU Invitational.
Redshirt sophomore Ross Steelman (Columbia, Mo.) follows in the second spot after continuing his spring hot streak to land T-4 at the LSU Invitational. His season-best, Top-5 finish featured tallying his 15th career round under-par.
Slotted third is sophomore Yu-Ta Tsai (Taipei, Taiwan) who finished second on the team for the second event in a row this spring. His consistent performance in the LSU Invitational boosted his season average to 73.47.
Making his season debut in the fourth spot is sophomore Viktor Einarsson (Reykjavik, Iceland). Einarsson competed in a total of five events last season as a freshman, three in the team lineup and two as an individual. Graduate student Walker Kesterson (Ashland, Mo.) completes the Tiger lineup in the fifth spot for the week.
After securing his season-best finish at the LSU Invitational of T-43, junior Tommy Boone (Plano, Texas) is slated to compete as an individual.
