No. 19/20 Mizzou Softball Travels to Mobile for South Alabama Tournament

MOBILE, Ala. – No. 19/20 Mizzou Softball travels to Mobile, Alabama for the South Alabama Tournament. Heading into the tournament, Mizzou has won four-straight games.
The Tigers will play five games over a three-day stretch. In their last game, Mizzou captured their second Top-25 road win of the season at UCF.
The Mizzou bats have been extremely productive over the last week. Tiger hitters have launched multiple home runs in five consecutive games. In the last three games, Mizzou has smacked three apiece. Hatti Moore currently leads the Tiger batters with five home runs.
Tiger pitching has come through with some big performances in the early stages of the season. Jordan Weber has brought no-hit bids into the fifth inning of two different games and she pitched one complete game shutout.
Mizzou will open the weekend with a matchup with Middle Tennessee State, followed by a Friday night showdown with host South Alabama. The South Alabama game will be broadcast on ESPN+. Saturday, Mizzou will take on Northwestern State and SIUE. The Tigers will close out the tournament with a single game on Sunday morning against Middle Tennessee State.
